PCPPI wins PepsiCo North Asia Innovation Award

Pepsi-cola Products Philippines, Inc. continues to make its mark as an environment-friendly company.

The company has recently gained recognition at the culmination of the PepsiCo North Asia, Pakistan, Philippines Business Unit Operations Leadership Meeting led by PepsiCo Operations VP Kanish Malik in Phuket, Thailand. 

The Rewards and Recognition Program highlighted the night as operating teams and individuals across the BU were awarded for their efforts of providing creative solutions to improve operating performance, leading to enhanced business results.

PCPPI was awarded with The Caleb Bradham Innovation Award, an award given to the site which has made a significant impact to the business with an out-of-box innovation. PCPPI was recognized for its renewable energy project, Project Power Play, headed by Salvador Factor and Redentor Gabinete, which aimed to shift the power source of PCPPI’s manufacturing operations from bunker fuel to biomass materials such as rice hull. Since the start of the project, PCPPI has generated significant savings for most of 2010. 

PCPPI SVP for Manufacturing and Logistics, Mr. Daniel Gregorio, received the award.
