Robinsons Malls seals exclusivity deal with Pepsi

Robinsons Land Corp. (RLC) and Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines Inc. (PCPPI) recently signed a new agreement granting Pepsi the exclusive right to service food courts and cinemas in all Robinsons shopping malls nationwide.         

RLC president Frederick Go and PCPPI president Partha Chakrabarti signed the three-year accord, ending nearly a year of negotiations on the exclusivity deal.

Witnesses to the signing were RLC executives Tommy O, vice president for property management; Arlene Magtibay, Robinsons Mall general manager; and PCPPI officials Juan Gabriel Sison, executive vice president for sales; and Ruben Yu, general manager for Modern Trade Operations.

Go expressed RLC’s optimism on his company’s tie-up with the soft drinks giant at the signing rite held at the JG Summit headquarters in Ortigas. “We are happy to partner with an established brand like Pepsi. We believe that this complements the objectives of Robinsons malls to be an indispensable part of the Filipino lifestyle, so  we look forward to a very fruitful partnership,” Go said.

Chakrabarti echoed Go’s sentiments, “Today, the partnership between Pepsi and Robinsons has come full circle. We are both confident that this collaboration will go a long way to our mutual benefits.”
