Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines, Inc. (PCPPI) has been recognized by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) with a Special Citation for Obliged Enterprises for going beyond mere compliance of Republic Act No. 11898, or the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Act of 2022.

The citation highlights PCPPI’s efforts in advancing recovery, reduction, innovation, and inclusive circular economy practices in support of the national Zero Waste to Nature agenda, over and above what is required by the EPR Act.

The award was conferred by DENR Secretary Raphael Lotilla and accepted by Atty. Carina Lenore Bayon, Chief Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Officer, and Fernando Ramos, Environment, Health, Safety and Security (EHSS) Principal, at the New World Makati Hotel on January 30, 2026.

"This award is very meaningful for us as it represents our collective efforts to support the government in the implementation of the law and to be recognized by DENR is an honor in itself." Atty. Bayon said.

PCPPI continues to strengthen its sustainability initiatives in line with national priorities, reinforcing its role as a responsible corporate citizen committed to environmental stewardship.
